I did high 1:26s at the end of my 4 year race career. The first day i step on the track i did 1;30.10. Took 4 years, a house refinance and about 80,000 in cash to knock of 4 seconds on my lap times............and i was still slow at that pace...........would do it all over in a heart beat.
PLUS, if it means anything, when I did the Willow Springs trakcday where I was doing about 20 seconds off of race pace, I only had been riding a year and a half altogether and hadn't gone to Kevin Schwantz yet, which is where I got a good amount of my current pace from. it's in my profile if you want to poke some more at me.
ok... not everyone starts off fast. I only started riding for only a couple of years, and if you read the message where I say "You don't have to believe me, I don't have shit to prove to random people on the internet. 20 seconds off of race times is pretty slow still." I obviously know I'm not very fast. I'm not trying to gloat or anything.
If you are running 20 seconds off the race pace (which means to be mid pack you need to be in the 1:24-27's) means your running upper 1:40's-low 50's...which means your slow...and I do belive it
oh haha well that's no reason to hate me haha, it's a reason to be jealous. hating is what makes people with hopes not achieve them haha! find the right people and you can be like me as well.
