"Are you ready?" Mrs. Carter asked Miley as she peeked in her door.
"Yeah, just putting on finishing touches..." Miley answered dabbing her eye making sure the glitter will stay on.
"You like a rock star!" Mrs. Carter flashed a camera at Miley, she posed and the camera clicked. "Kids! Are you ready? We need to go!" she yelled out the door to motivate Demi, Selena, and Nick.
"Were coming..." Demi moaned coming down the stairs with Selena and Nick following her.
Everyone hoped in the van and they sped off to Klondike High.
"Mom? Are we having a party for our birthday?" Miley asked.
"I dont know... do you want a party this year?" Mrs. Carter replied.
"YES! I want a party!"
"I dont..." Selena mumbled.
"Excuse me?" Miley commented.
"Well the rest of us just want a small party, not a huge one where you invite the whole school..." Selena explained.
"But-" Miley interrupted.
"Maybe just have like 20-50 guests instead of 1-200..." Selena suggested.
"Now thats a reasonable agreement... dont you think so?"
"Well I wouldnt" Miley started.
"I think its a great idea." Nick spoke up, covering up Mileys comment.
"Me too." Demi chimed in.
"Great, just a simple small party." Mrs. Carter confirmed.
"But- I- We- Just- Ugh!" Miley pouted.
Everyone arrived at the auditorium promptly on time. Mandy and the Jameson boys waved to the quads as they entered the dimly lighted room.
"Heres the paper you wanted." Demi snuck the piece of folded paper to Mandy and she stuck in her jean pocket. "So howd you stall Nick?"
"Oh, I just asked him to help me with Math..."
"Nice..." Demi chuckled.
"Get ready to bore yourself to sleep.." Joe joked. "Look, Im already in my pjs!"
"Really?" Demi raised her eyebrow.
"No, but these are comfy pants... I could sleep in these..." Joe reassured tugging on them a little.
"Well a least watch the first five minutes of it..." Demi insisted.
"Ok fine..." Joe smiled.
"Shh... Its starting..." Mrs. Carter shh-ed.
The play was surprisingly not bad. Miley played a young girl named Taylor who was being held back from marrying her true love Brett. Her overprotective father implies she must meet all if his requirements if she want to be with Brett. For example getting good grades and proving that Brett is not a bad boy. Miley actually did a good job. She was funny, and serious, and a pretty good singer. No one fell asleep which was good. At the end we stood up and gave an awkward standing ovation.
After the show, we saw Miley talking to some guy. Miley came racing to us with a business card in her hand.
"LOOK! LOOK WHAT I HAVE!!! That guy I just talked to is Mr. Maxwell. Hes a famous agent who specializes in casting! He said to give him a call for any questions about future acting careers!" Miley excitedly announced.
"You did so well!" Kevin said hugging Miley tightly.
"Yeah you did a pretty good job.." Demi added.
"Thanks everyone."
Mr. and Mrs. Carter put their arms around their star daughter as they walked out. Everyone else paired off as they trailed behind.
"Hey I thought you all said that this was gonna be torture?" Mandy questioned.
"Well usually it is..." Nick answered.
"But-" Mandy grinned.
"But it wasnt, it was delightfully and awkwardly intriguing..." Nick smiled.
"Yeah I have to owe it to her, it was pretty spectacular..." Demi added.
"Yeah I liked it." Joe agreed.
"I liked the father, he was hilarious!" Kevin commented.
"Oh yeah me too." Frankie agreed.
Everyone laughed as the split to g home.
"Hey Frankie dont forget to over at my house by 8AM for the game!!!" Nick shouted.
"OK! Got it!" Frankie yelled back.

everything is moving so fast. first a big football game and then the Carter's Party! so much! tons of dramma, music, and i have to get writting!
