Hello!

Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you so much for taking a
look at my work! I hope you enjoy looking at the images, if only a
fraction as much as I enjoyed making them. When I look at some of the
wedding photos that I have taken over the years, I have to smile. I
have been so fortunate to witness so many beautiful moments in people's
lives.

Your wedding day is one of the most important experiences you will
ever have. If it is anything like my wedding day however you'll be so
busy that you probably won't remember everything about it. That is
where having a skilled photographer is essential. I have been a
professional photojournalist for nearly a decade. I have been trained
to see "moments." I see them everywhere, whether I am taking pictures
or not. They are little glimpses of humanity. Your wedding day will be
full of them. These are moments that will only happen once.

Imagine the moment when your parents see you in your dress for the
very first time. Imagine the frantic process of trying to get that same
dress, the buttons on which took you an hour to fasten, safely tucked
into the waiting limousine. Imagine your new husband, looking into your
eyes and saying, "I do". I will be there to photograph each and every
one of your moments. It is what I do. Through the pictures that I take,
I will tell the story of your wedding. I hope you'll be looking at your
album for years.

Some photographers will have you recreate events at your wedding, or
direct you on how to smile, kiss, dance, etc. This is intended to make
the picture look "perfect." The truth is, all you will remember about
your cake cutting or the toast, is the photographer getting in the way.
The perfect photo will happen on its own, and it is my job to be aware
of, and take that image.

The next few months of planning your dream wedding are going to be
very hectic, but also very rewarding. I would be honored to help record
the moments of your beautiful day. If you have any questions, or if I
can offer any advice, please don't hesitate to call or email me. Again,
congratulations on your engagement. I look forward to speaking with you
very soon.

Warmest regards,

-Ed
