  • This movie changed my world. I have schizoeffective disorder real bad and I think kind of the way that Temple thinks sometimes. Its hard and people are rude at times.

  • @harveypotato I don't think ANY cable channels care about high-quality video- that's why I don't subscribe to it!

  • CNN runs this channel? You'd think they could upload a higher quality video which isn't vertically smooshed.

  • I believe that she meant that a mother of an autistic child would have a perspective that no one else would have. It would be important for a mother to show the truth about autism, rather than viewing it just as a movie. Parents of autistic children are passionate about portraying the truth to the world, in order to promote understanding. I don't believe that Temple meant any disrespect, nor do I think it is her autism that provoked the comment. I think parents would agree with it.

  • Thank you Temple for helping me understand your autism and for being so brave!

  • hah at 0:11 check that girl in the purple. whoops

  • it did.. i sure did learn a lot of things.. thank u so much =]]

  • @KennyandGretel I think she was just saying a mom would do it right- not that someone who is not a mom would do it wrong ;) . I'm not a mom, and (more or less) raising a child on the spectrum. I doubt she would tell me that I was doing it wrong ;) .

  • "A mom would do it right" ??? What about all the non-mothers who devote their lives to ensuring that children with autism reach their full potential in life? Are they doing it WRONG because they're not mothers? Sometimes Temple's comments really do show that she is not quite aware of the connotation of her words (i.e., how people will interpret what she's saying) - which is definitely an Asperger's trait. I still like her though.
