@Eeza07 God, yes. A couple decades ago when I spun at WHRW-Binghamton, a DJ gave me a solo piano version on tape I love. I feel Bruce's early records didn't reveal the full power of the songs they contained; you had to see him live for that.

@hopfenschorle Bruce wrote the song. It is on his first album "Greetings from Asbury Park N.J.". Manfred Mann covered the song as well as Spirit in the Night and Blinded by the Light from the same album.
