My neighbor Dave Crosby is building a 9 cylinder RC Engine. What a project! No plane currently built for it. I'm thinking it would be cool in a Stearman.
@bigjon6565 OK you have to put me in touch with your father as well I love live steam locomoltives I have on that is from a model train company in britain and the company is called HORNBY the product is called hornby live steam.I love model rail roading and I love all gas powered and diesel powered engines as well wether the engines be big or small Please If you don't mind I would love to talk to your father about model railroading and live steam locomotives. Please respond thanks from dylan
Like a Wright J4. A Curtiss TS-1 or F-4C model would look correct with your engine, as would a Fokker Universal or a trimotor like the "Josephine Ford." I believe some Wacos and Travel Airs had J-4 power also. The Robins used the oddball 6 cylinder "Challenger" radial.
Absolutely fantastic. You have to admire the dedication to build something like this. Well done Dave. I should put you in touch with my father - he builds model steam locomotives! Another machine shop junky! I fly heli's!
That is Awesome, I'd never be able to put something like that together, Can't wait to see a video of it's first run.
