  • Thanks for the input. This video is not addressing the full nuances of low glycemic impact eating nor the construction of a daily meal plan that would tell you about the ratios of fruits and vegetables as well as complex carbohydrates that are healthy benefit as well as for weight loss. More on that can be found on the "Good Fat, Bad Fat" video. A video on low glycemic impact eating is on its way soon.

  • U should read good calories bad calories by Gary Taubes!! no need for carbs and fiber at all!! carbs are not essential nutrients!! even wekepidia says that!! green vegetables and salads are great to have but no fruits and no grains!!

  • Also, you mention that low-carbers are cranky and tired. This is because they are sugar addicts and they are going through withdrawal, and it goes away. Have you ever noticed that heroin addicts in withdrawal are also cranky and tired? Would you recommend that they get back on the H to improve their mood? Also, after a couple months your body gets used to burning fat for fuel and you can exercise just fine.

  • Thanks for this review of the cutting edge of 1970s nutrition science. My advice for you is to turn your Apple II off, get in your Gremlin and drive to the nearest Barnes and Noble and get a copy of Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taubes and introduce yourself to today's conclusions.

  • My problem with your video besides the misstatements about low carb is the idea that the insulin shock from eating a fruit (1 or 2 cups of grapes for instance) would be different long term than pasta dinner. Or a plate of whole grain pasta would not eventually affect one's blood sugar eventually as would the immediate impact of diet soda. Either you hop off the blood sugar wave by going low carb or you are boat on the waves of insulin reactions.

  • I am sorry you are just wrong. I have been on the Atkins Diet for over 4 years, and have more energy now more than ever. "For running?" I just completed a half marathon last Saturday on 20-30g Carbs per day diet. The body after the first Induction flu period is more than capable to exercise aerobically on low carb. As for fiber, it is the low carb that have been promoting high fiber, low GI vegetables.

  • thank you very much for this very informing video!
