@YankeeTankee when you're "oiling up" for competition you want to make sure that oil is in every corner, crack and crease because the darker you are the more muscular and define you look, and that is what the judges look more (how much muscle do you have on your frame and how defined is it.) This is why you NEVER see the super pale muscle guy. He could be physically in better shape than the guy that is oiled up but the tanned oiled guy will "look" like he is more muscular and in better shape.

I don't get why they are being so persnickity about putting the oil on. I mean, I get that it's not porn but couldn't they just sort of glob it on instead of all that pat-pat-pat-pat-pat. Otherwise, that guy has to be the most handsome man I have seen in a loooooooong time....

@goodproportions That is not true. Ive got a body like that and im not on steriods and i think im tiny compared 2 the steriod users in my gym lol
