Symptoms and dangers of Walking Pneumonia
Although you can catch pneumonia year round, studies show that infectious agents such as mycoplasma are higher during the late summer. This bacterial organism can cause walking pneumonia.
Symptoms of walking pneumonia can be mild, including a persistent, dry cough, fever, chills, sore throat and generalized weakness. If you develop any of these symptoms, you could be contagious and it is important to seek immediate medical attention for proper treatment.
Remember to consult your doctor or healthcare provider with any questions or concerns about your health.
