This was a great catch, not even kowing this is what it was, I heard a new buddy, Mr. Doug Leischner the conductor get a warrant with BNSF 7721 East leaving Toland. I went up to see Dougie and I called my buddy Dan to tell him where I was. Coming around the ben I thought those were units, then I realize ARMY TANKS! SWEEEET!!!!! As you hear me say that I was excited, Dan was like ??? He thought I was kidding, yeah, WRONG! Here it is Dan. Steve (buddy engineer) looked this up and it was originated in Paducha, KY. Headed to Beardstown, IL. It was a surprise! BNSF GEVO 7721, BNSF WarBonnet 653, BNSF 845, 36 flat cars, 2 Camo full Army Tanks on each. EOT on rear or FRED. Dougie you have some weight baby! Enjoy YouTube and another one for Doug.

  • I used to drive an M60 tank in the Army.

One of the scariest things I ever did as a driver was to drive on a rail flat car for transportation. The M60 treads hung off the edge of the rail car by about 4 inches. The cars moved a lot when that 56 ton beast climbed on it's back. You really had to trust your ground guide as from the drivers hatch you could not see your treads to drive on it.

    Thanks for the video.

  • We have a National Guard Armory but for the first time ever we saw 27 army tanks being transported by a csx engine & it didn't stop nor leave anywhere near the armory. It was passing through & all were od green. It stopped behind the floodwall for about 20 minutes & when it came out in the open again there was a bunch of old empty freight cars added on at the end.

Because we have a bunch of pussies in the Government and they listen to the 10 people who for some reason seem to think that if we minded our own business everyone would leave us alone... and they don't understand that the enemy HATES our way of life, its not anything we did to them, they hate us for who we are, and if we didn't fight em over there, we would be fighting em here.

  • @bricub72 Yeah i think i over reacted it's just i hate the way anything military is always army for example oh it's a army plane or army man.

  • @stratagie1 It's just what people think, and actually, they aren't ARMY tanks anyways (unless this was pre-1990), they are most likely National Guard tanks. Main stream military re-painted their thanks to the desert scheme around the time of the Gulf War.
