Not quite sure why you are ranting about the storyline. Trudi was cheating on Harris for 3 years not just once or twice. He went after SanDeE* more to feel young again - he realized he couldn't maintain.

I love this song and the movie. The song always remind me of how I've spent my life as an outcast from everyone. The movie is so utterly whimsical; some of it feels like dream sequences.
