I make dentures for a living and she needs a new one, the shade of that tooth is way off. She must have had her teeth whitened since it was made.

Charlotte says, that the tooth has gone "kaput", and that she is having a serious operation.

Actually the tooth is not the point: The point is, that Charlotte opposes against the "hygiene hysteria" in our society.

C: Im going to have an operation tomorrow morning.

H: Serious?

C: Yes, namely in the near of my teeth.

H: What does this mean?

C: I'm missing a cutting tooth here at the front. Of course you cannot see it now because there is a replacement. And this had become so much damaged so when the root had to be pulled out that i have to go to a paradontologist tomorrow for making jawbone- and gums-build-up.
