Can someone please tell me how do they place the wood like that? How can I make the roots look like there coming from above? Do they tie it to the canopy or what?

@VeryBadReputation What I did was take a strip of wood (pvc is better) and screw the pieces of wood on the strip, put the strip (on) and the wood (in) the tank and done.

I positioned the wood and cut it under that angle I wanted it before attaching to the wood,

is the white sand you used in your tank the same sand the are using for salt water tank? if no, what type of white sand you used?

I bought it at the pool store, it's used in pool filters.

if you dont use co2 how do you keep ur plants healthy??

They just do good with out CO2

I got mine from a hardware supply store. just rinse it out a couple of times, and your good.
