She has this incredible GIFT for making the most modern and angular music sound utterly MUSICAL. It's a remarkable thing, and a joy to listen to. That high C is a knock out too!

In spite of the extraneous lost ballerina, she sounds exquisite!

Dawn is so graceful, her performance here so riveting- the dancer is a distraction and and insult to Dawn's brilliance.

Not really a fan of middle-period Stravinsky, but this is one of the best bits in The Rake's Progress

What's up with the mouse on the screen?
That was great! The stage direction and ballet dancer are truly unique...Upshaw really showcases Anne's Naivete in this version and the final note is resplendant and firm- now we have 3 great versions of Upshaw's Anne on Youtube- thanks for uploading this one!

This is my favourite Upshaw's version of the aria becuase here she sings beautitully and without any little imperfection. The tempo is right and not too fast like in the audio version although in that recording her voice sounds wonderful and very youth, just right for the chacacter. In the Salzbourg video she sings well but I think her voice sounds a little tired.
