Caregivers prepare their diets daily, and even adjust for the warmer seasons when the elephants eat more of the live vegetation available to them in the habitats. While we suppose it is possible to over feed an elephant, it does not happen here at the Sanctuary.

I hope the girls are confortable, the heat is always difficult soo difficult. Gosh I wonder if the divas get hot flashes? I hope not!!!!do they eat ice cream?

During warmer temps the elephants cool down with plenty of available mud, water, and also often spend time in the shade of the woodlands. They adapt very well!

I have missed these its been awhile. But they always warm my heart when I watch them. They are such beautiful animals and seem so happy. Do they get to hot in the summer time? I enjoyed this.

They made me smile and feeling happy for them.

Watching them playing is very wonderfull and sometimes I wish I could be around them, with them I speak about the girls or ladys.
