My prayers go out to the 12 soldiers who died and the others who were wounded as a result of yesterdays rampage.

September 2009
It was an honor to have had the opportunity to visit Fort Hood and photograph the troops. Many of these young men and women have the best intentions for the world to be a better place and work double time educating themselves with many dreams and hopes.
They are pushed to their humanly limits in many difficult conditions. For example, The tank gear is at least 40 pounds, which they wear for weeks on end in 110"F weather. I can write a book about the few days I spent with the troops. Look out for my actual photographs of the troops.

  • As a Canadian Forces Land Force Command Infantry (Canadian Army) I Totally Respect these soldiers and would die for them. Even though im Canadian I Would Help my brothers.

  • my husband is in the us army and in a way i agree with ezekial but not many people know about that> I have the upmost respect to all those who have given up their lives to join the army. Many have lost their lives and its sad. Its funny how footallers make ten times more money than a soldier does just by kicking a stupid ball around. The world is going to end soon and the soldiers are not to blame for killing people... they are just doing their job to protect us!

  • I am one of John Bell Hoods Great Grand Sons. If anyone would like to know more about the General whom this base was named after shoot me an e-mail.

The blood of the General whose base you named after remains within me. I am the only one left besides nearly 30 others in the world. If you value Military history contact me. I know more about my family than our government.
