  • Guys, if you use the "Drag to enter street view" in the big wide sea, it's kinda creepy but fun at the same time, and dark water places? oh shit, it'll be more like the The Ring.

    P.S: I found a submarine under the water and I changed the time from 2010 to 2009 and it's still there..creepy. o.o

I couldn't find any "street view" options in "the big wide sea",pictures only here and there.

  • wow, libre na sya?

  • is that an googleearth pro?

  • @TheObeyWeegee area 51 under water hq .. lol

  • @straykatstudio Yes, I can see the differences. It is like comparing raster graphic with a Postscript. Engineering is always about compromises. I bet the LiDAR scanning can go finer resolution if necessary, but it will never be able to scale infinitely like a true 3D model. What's lacking in details is compensated by the wide coverage and fast data collection. The ideal is to use OVI's technology to get the high level coverage and when zoomed in, Stretch-up models take over.

  • @cplai Have you seen the Ovi Maps close up? It's like a horror film where a city gets melted by some terrible radiation or something. Ovi Maps is great if you stay 100 feet or more above the ground. And don't mind cars and trees being melted into buildings and sidewalks. Google Earth has some drawbacks, yes, but the difference is that it has endless potential for gradual improvement. It's the tortoise to Nokia's hare. Also, it's integrated with Google's other data.

  • Google Earth is full of 3d Models.

  • @Chrisfm94 Africa gets a chance too!, just wait for the change ;)

  • Wow! Can't wait to see moving 3D cars and people's and also a night view. Not only day, so it will seam to be real .
