Remedies Endorsed by the Community, Local Intergovernmental Team, and the City and County Governments

Excavation and off-site disposal of contaminants from all 4 source areas (preferred); or at minimum, a more comprehensive solidification than proposed by EPA.

Thorough excavation of contaminated soils from outside primary source areas, with off-site disposal. No toxic mound.

No dumping of contaminated off-site surface soils and creek sediments onto the Site (which would increase the contamination on the site).

Thoroughly clean off-site surface soils on adjacent properties and within homes.

Enhanced stormwater management plan to protect Springstead and Hogtown Creeks from contamination.

The government doesn't care any more about you than they did the 4 million Asians who were sprayed with Dioxin (Agent Orange) over 10 years during the War Crimes of Vietnam. Mary Ann Jones uncle was killed by an accidental spray of AO in the 60's.

I get so disgusted when I think about how so many people have forgotten that the Earth does not belong to us. We were given this beautiful planet and instead of taking care of it, so many ruin it and don't even give it a second thought. EPA, it is your job to TAKE CARE of these issues. Don't be one of those people who created the problem. Be the solution. The Earth needs you!

This song is awesome.  Why is the EPA resisting getting this community a better cleanup? Protection is their middle name but instead of protecting the environment they are protecting corporate pocketbooks. Shame!
