Hah. That's funny. You could do what I do (which is not very nice) which is step on the throttle and make that roaring sound with the engine to scare him away but I guess that won't work lol. I do it to scare away people who think they can walk in the middle of the road.

Have you realized that everyone seems to want to overtake you when you're driving a W140?

@shapolang23 Not in Japan - no one overtakes you/ The W140 was the notorius *Yakuza Car* throughout the 90s and the early 00s....so it has a stigma of being a dangerous persons preferred transportation.... so people actually make room for you. Ive had people stop dead on the highway to let me in. Thats one of the bonuses of owning a W140 in Japan.Drive any other car, no ones polite. W140? Everyones so considerate.

@HeisW140 Unfortunately people here (in Australia) aren't so considerate always. Some people do come up to us and say "man, that's a beautiful car" but there are always these 4 cylinder cars who always try to overtake me for fun lol.

By the way, my W140 has had this start up problem for 2 years-- we went on a vacation for 2 months and just left it in the garage and then when we came back it's been misfiring-- It cranks for like 5-10 seconds before it starts up and sometimes I have to step on the accelerator for it to start up. I've been reading around and apparently this is a problem with the wiring harness (in pre-1996 models-- mine's a '94) and mass air flow sensor.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
