Hi there! You're the guy on the video right! I have a question:
Are they saying that the government has neglected the upkeep of the building because it was a mental hospital and perhaps the government doesn't respect it as much as it would another building?

I dont think the programme was insulting at all.. i think the 'village of the damned' title was just for effect and people need to stop being so sensitive. I've suffered with mental health issues myself and it didnt offend me at all.
I live not far from Denbigh and i've seen the hospital and the state it's in.. and i've always thought that it could be used in a positive way.. rather than being left to rot.

is the main part of the hospital building being pulled down?? if so, how come its not a listed building?

Yeah, must admit not the best title, but now buildings are being teared down, I think there is more important issues to fight.

Calling it 'Village of the Damned' does it make a huge difference? No!
There are more pressing issues, like whats happening next to the hospital, Housing Estate/Prison/Demolition. A TV show title seems a little less important
