Can appreciate training in anything, makes perfect...I think a bag that does the same thing each time would really only be good for beginners...he makes the statement 'Do not move backwards in a straight line.' Then follows up with 'At most take two steps back and then angle off.'...doesn't work at all. Shouldn't it flow, blend and be as one.

FOOT WORK IS AN IMPERITIVE !
EVERY THING COMES FROM THE GROUND UP!
A FUNDAMENTAL THAT IS TOO OFTEN OVER LOOKED .
DIRECTIONAL STEPPING , PIVIOT STEPPING , ANGLE STEPPING.
ONE WAY OR ANOTHER THIS MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED BEFORE ANY FIGHTER CAN MOVE UP IN SKILL LEVELS.
THINK OF TAKING LUNGE STEPS WITH WEIGHTS IN YOUR HANDS FOR A FEW 3 MINUTE ROUNDS..
YOUR GOAL SHOULD BE TO BECOME A TECHNICIAN = FEEMUR **

That's a great fundamental drill.

Great stuff. I havn't boxed for a couple of years just getting back into it. My footwork is a little sloppy. This will help a lot. Thanks buddy.
