Like A Child

This music video for "Like A Child" by Glenn Marais was shot on a very low budget with donated funds and equipment and a volunteer crew. It was used to raise awareness of the growing numbers of African children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It promotes a short story "Who Will Cuddle Them When They Sleep?" written by then six year old Paige Pedlar from Aurora, Ontario, who sold the book to raise funds for Cotlands hospices in South Africa.
Shot on a mix of 16mm film and SD DV tape, it was shot in both Ontario and in Cape Town, in townships, two hospices, and the Red Cross childrens hospital.
The finished video was sold in DVD format with 100% of the proceeds going to Cotlands.
It was also shown during the concert at the Rogers centre for the 2006 AIDS conference in Toronto.
