898-MCL Police Car speeding In 60kmh zone then again 10kmh zone in Shopping Centre

Saw this police car on Brisbane Rd Booval. When I looked down at my GPS I was doing 62. Car was pulling away from easily. Then entered Booval Shopping Centre which is 10kmh zone and again, clearly speeding. (Late night shopping too?) What was the rush? I don't know, but she walked into the Police Beat. Worth speeding for? You make up your own mind. Don't mind my commentary as the Bus Driver breaks the threshold, for a second I thought he was going to pull out in front of me. Now, it's worth noting, I completely realise that police are exempt from the traffic act when they have a valid reason in execution of their duties. However, in this case, the officer pulled up outside the police beat & went in. About 5 minutes later, she had teamed up with her partner and were walking through BigW , just wandering around. No hurry. I'll let you make the call on whether that's an emergent reason that warrants pegging it through the centre on late night shopping night. *shrugs* it it what it is.
