  • I love my Lao-Isan cousins! Peenong Kow Niow, Sieng Khen....A saying goes, if and when there are a presence of sticky rice and the sound of Khen, there is the presence of Lao. From my grandfather's hometown, Yasotorn to my grandmother's hometown, Udorn and across the Mekong River to my parents' hometown of Savannakhet.
