This is the original BBC series. It shits all over the Roseanne Barr film - and even that is a good film, despite the total lack of lesbianism, extreme cosmetic surgery and the eventual death by supernatural she-devil forces of Mary Fisher in what must be one of the best death scenes ever.

Julie T. Wallace has such a command of her tall figure, and such confidence in her expressive face. Back in 86, I couldn't keep my eyes on her. 25 years later, I still can't. So sad she had a bit partin 5th Element as her ugly-duckling self here. She's really quite beautiful.
