In Memory of Miller Milleton, blind guitar virtuoso

I made this slide show to honor the memory of one of my favorite guitarists and one of Baguio's top guitar players, not to mention he is blind. I first heard Miller playing guitar when I was in high school walking at the city market along the old sweepstakes office. I stopped as I listened to him play Don't dream it's over by Crowded House, boy this guy is great. Thereafter every time I passed by the same spot in the market, I would stop and listen to a couple of his songs which really caught my attention because it is uncommon to hear a blind street musician play the kind of tunes he played and with great skill, he could play bass, rhythm and lead simultaneously! He even did a blazing fast sweep during one of his solos in one of his rock covers, and still one of the fastest fingers I have seen up to date. A couple of years later he came to the studio to record with his country band Soundwaves. During one of the breaks while we were tracking his guitar, he was messing around with the intro of Dance with me by Earl Klugh, which I urged him to continue, followed by another instrumental (I forgot the title). Its a good thing I still have the first track on my cel which made me come up with an idea to make a slideshow. Aside from being a great guitar player, he also had a good sense of humor, every time we met, he always asked me if we could go out and watch a movie.

i used to hear him play every afternoon infront of the old sweepstakes booth in the market.world class ung talent nya at talagang mppatigil ka kung maririnig mo siyang tumipa.pwede syang ikumpara sa mga sikat na guitar soloist gya ni andy mckee. i remember a british guy watched him in the market and he was completely awed by mg.miller's talent.
