to all of you who assume that this vaccine is TOTALLY SAFE and that it doesn't contain ANY BAD SUBSTANCES, consider the Swine Flu Scare in 1976, where many people died as a result of taking the vaccine. Why else are they trying to give inmates this shot (they're trying to kill them off) when inmates aren't exposed to the outside world. Why would they need to get the vaccine?

Only uninformed people will get the vaccine. H1N1 is man-made according to Adrian Gibbs, who was on the Tamiflu development team.

Some people have had very scary reactions but no one is reporting on them as a whole, just little tid bits here and there from different local sources.

That's ridiculous. AIDS came from the HIV virus. And HIV-1 came from chimps while only HIV-2 came from monkeys, the Sooty Mangabey to be precise.

@TheLadyMarianne: I agree to this comment. I agree that it's possible that drug companies will certainly capitalize off any pandemic (because they're filthy greedy corporations). Also keep in mind that any ideas that the vaccine is dangerous are also false an unscientific (ie mercury in a preservative, when it's been proven safe at those quantities).
The fact is that there is middle ground on that topic: it's safe and useful, but greedy corps will always make money off your misfortune.

What are talking about about? The vaccine has been tested FOR DECADES!!! It's the same exact vaccine we've been giving people for seasonal flu. The only difference is that, like we do every year, a different strain of flu is inside. That's it! The vaccine has scientifically proven to be both safe & effective. And it's FREE!!!
But you know, the grocery industry is also set up to make money, so maybe you should not buy food either, comrade.

3000 people died on 9/11. You're talking about something else. 4000 Americans have already died of H1N1 and several thousand more have died globally from it. So yes, if you're suggesting that many deaths is just hype, then 9/11 must be even more overblown hype. So exactly how many people do you think need to die before it's okay to warn people about the easily-preventable danger?

9/11 has killed millions of people and is still killing everyday, including thousands of our own soldiers and innocent men, women, and children who have done nothing to harm anyone. Anyone who refuses to find the truth and stand against these crimes is just as guilty as the perpetrators of these crimes. 9/11 wasn't hype. It was mass murder and treason.

-I just want to say that the 'shortage' has nothing to do with the government. The vaccine is being manufactured by the private sector. Our government has been doing all it can to try and speed up the process, but it is a slow one.
But I have no opinion on the media's reporting on H1N1 or its vaccine.
