Adaptive rowing coach Randy Mills and adaptive rower Oksana Masters discuss and demonstrate techniques amputees should consider in both on the water and indoor rowing. Oksana discusses her philosophy of life, how she has come to relate to her ampuattions and offers an example of how to cope with a new injury and succeed. Indoor rowing equipment used in the demonstration are courtsey of Concept2 Company. The video was created and produced by Robert Black.     Thanks - I enjoy filming all our rowers. Oksana is training for the Paralympic Games in 2012 in London. I'll pass you comment on to her.

  • heyy i am a british indoor rower and why arnt you moving the seat back and fourth whle your rowing

  • She is a bilateral leg amputee and only rows with her trunk and arms.

    In TA rowing do FISA dictate that you have to have a back support on the seat?

    (If there was no back on it, the stroke length could be longer)
