Yeah, the NES version was the only real departure in the series, and it was largely because of the system's technical limitations. Super Punch Out may be a little on the easy side, but it's still a good game in its own right. To compare it to a broken piece of shit like Clayfighter is ridiculous.

To block high you hold up on the d-pad. To block low do not hold any direction on the d-pad, stay neutral.

the old man with the cane ALWAYS kicked my ass...it took me 15 years to beat this game because of him.
