A Western toad named Hoppy, which had been raised in captivity, is being "gracefully" set free in the Santa Ynez river in California. The Western toad is native to this area, and a population of these toads inhabits the Santa Ynez river, so Hoppy will have a great chance to thrive.
By releasing that toad, you probably have spread a amphibian crippling disease to the native amphibian species of the river.

Thank you for your concern, but "that toad" happens to be a Western Toad, which is native to this area. There is already a healthy population of Western Toads living in the Santa Ynez river, which is why we decided to release the toad there.
