This is rajasthani Mand ...i cant explain how i feel when i listen this song..but i can say it takes me away...and the violin played in this song really cry's for the balam... well this is what i feel..lovely folk song.

I have heard this beautiful song in various hues. This is a Gujarati (Kathiawadi) version which is sung with Dhol. There are several versions. The most popular on the net seems to be of Great Mehndi Hasan. Langas and Manganiar singers have popularised its Eastern Rajasthani version. In Udaipur another version is sung. Each version has its beauty. However, let's appreciate the music director of this song and the Director of this film who incorporated this into the film.

I wish we could hear the original version which people in the desert sing live. I think that sounds refreshing because that is crude but this is a good version too
