Drakengard - Chapter 4 Verse 2 - Pride

Inuart was taken recently by the Empire, where his mind was broken by them. He made a pact with the very Empire dragon that killed Caim's parents, sacrificing his songs, his singing. He does so to fulfill his wish to protect Furiae in Caim's place, having grown jealous of Caim with his weak heart. He battles his former friend, taking Furiae to the Empire where he believes she will be safe.

On a side note, Furiae is the Goddess, one of the few seals that protect the world. The Empire wishes to destroy the seals to bring utter chaos to the world, and to use the Seeds of Resurrection that will appear. They want to reconstruct the world as they see fit.

@balbanes1 Nowe kinda kinda came out of bone castet after Inuart entered there with Furiae at least that's what I've read. Whats interesting is that his name is written exactly the same as the word "new" in Polish as in "New Breed"

I think Nowe may be the son of inuart and possibly furiai. Legna makes a comment about him being a fool like 2others he knew in the past. Legna may have raised Nowe after Inuarts demise. Maybe the black dragon in part one was a relative of Legna's. Inuart and Nowe have similar voices.

I hate that dumb priest. His chants never help anything, and all he talks about is how screwed they all are. Just STFU we see the giant babies flying everywhere!! Why don't you forget your chants and hit him in the head with that staff or something?! Gosh -.-

I haven't finished the game so I don't know much about the black dragon and such, but I gotta say that it does look like Legna. The body form is similiar, and even more so the color when Legna reaches his final form.

And, as my disc for this game is total crap because I bought it used, I continued to think that the video would freeze once Caim started charging toward the dragons. xD Because my game does that.

well considering that whenever Verdelet does something he only screws up, chants in this video he gets owned, tries to contain a little child, makes it a big child, places the seal on the dragon, he goes a little overboard with the seal.

mmm legna raised nowe though and the way legna says that line leads me to believe he was talking about himself not inuart >.> and they became one I dont think that makes them his parents x3 they just in my opinon went into a seed and fused together and out popped nowe

Think back in the second game, there was one part in the tome of knowledge where it says. "Two beings become one (inuart and furiae im guessing) and a dragon is given a name". And later in the legna fight, he says. "Your a sentimental fool, just...like you'r...father...".I do believe the black dragon is legna, but in a sense he isn't Legna YET.
