That sounds truly like a great drink!

I miss a bit some bitters - this is just a drink which is predestinated for the use of bitters.

Also some deductions for technical flaws: cold drink into a warm glass?

Anyway - sounds really good - just needs a bit of a story behind… [how does Plymouth gin comes to the Charente].

Who says the glass is warm? You can certainly store your glass in the fridge or freezer if you want it extra-cold. As for the story behind it, there's really not much of one: Franky Marshall created this drink for a Plymouth Gin recipe contest—it's not a historic concoction or anything.

I just subscribed since I am in pursuit of my first bartending gig. This is the second video I watch on this channel and noticed that when you pour from the jigger into the glass, you pour by twisting your wrist away from your body. It looks a bit awkward but I am sure there is a reason. Is there?

You can certainly store your glass in the fridge or freezer - but then it will look like that [condensing]…

For the bitters - I don't really implied, that it has to be a historic recipe. But bitters in such recipes are working very well - and I am just missing them. Personally I would even prefer either way Plymouth Navy Strength or another gin with 47% - but I talked already too much!

So this is basically a Martinez cocktail that gives the vermouth a more starring role?

Speritifs are sort of the unsung heroes of so many interesting cocktails, and allow for lots of creativity, as The Cappa shows. Looks great!
