If I ever had a pet crow and if it's a boy, I would name him Jonathan

I never tire of watching crows and their antics. Louis is very lucky to reside at Lower Moss Wood.

huh? did you mean you just kept feeding him and hes become tamed towards you and your place or did you actually adopt him?
I WOULD LOVE A CROW AS A PET <3!!

See the comments further up - he was hand reared (by persons unknown), and they kept hold of him too long - he now has no fear of humans, associates humans with food and enjoys the company of humans.
Unfortunately crows don't make good pets! They can be very messy, they eat things you wouldn't enjoy having around the house, and they get bored very easily - and when they get bored, they are destructive and aggressive.

Think of them as flying un-houstrained toddlers - always reaching for things, investigating, getting into things you don't want them to, and leaving poo everywhere - not always a nice combination if you like the decor of your house!

i know what the crow was trying to do, it sounds strange but true.. Oviosly the bowl was to big for the bird to hold, the bird was trying to scoop water up then drop the dog biscuit in the water to make it soft to eat. But the bowl and the water was making the crow feel all uncomfable and the crow couldnt do it, it was impossible.

Having known Louis for quite a while, and other corvids (members of the crow family) like him, it's simply because he enjoys playing with the bowl - like a dog with a toy - the fun is to throw it around and make some noise :)

lol, he needs a ball or something to play with! Not a bowl!
Crow's are so fascinating. I want a Louis! I wonder though, does he respond when you say his name?

Yes, he does! Quite often when I arrive, I just need to call his name and he comes right over, calling and fanning his tail :)
