This was on November 21, 1992. In this video we drove into Las Cruces, New Mexico to get gasoline. Then we got on the interstate 10 east highway, and drove out of Las Cruces, N.M. in the direction of El Paso and eventually the Metroplex of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. My friend and I went to Dallas (at the time-November 1992) for the anniversary events of President Kennedy's assassination. We drove on the 10 highway east to the 20 and then into Dallas. I think that was how it worked. The quality of the video is not great, but this was an 1980s camera in the early 1990s. I apologize for the chopping up of the video, but I suppose it is better to have something rather than nothing on video of our car trip. On this clip, there is a sign on the highway to a city called Mesillia. If anyone knows where some of the things or landmarks are on this video, please share your comments.
I miss LC. Not enough to live there again, because the violence and the city itself have both grown..
