Three long pass plays from Terry Hanratty to Jim Seymour in Notre Dame's 1966 win over #8 Purdue at Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish defeated Purdue 26-14 in the season opener for both teams. Seymour's 276 receiving yards that day still stands as a Notre Dame record. An ecstatic Coach Ara Paseghian meets Seymour in the back of the endzone after his final touchdown catch. Special thanks to KH for marrying the silent game film to the original radio broadcast. Jim Morse & Frank Sweeney handled the radio call of the action that day.
I've been a ND fan since my birth in 1946. I loved this '66 team. Hanratty, Bleier, Conjar, and God bless Jim Seymour. I miss my Irish.

With Jim Seymour and Jack Snow as split ends the celestial ND team will be hard to beat.
