  • If he plays solo, or the band,.do they play stuff mostly before good mourning? Cause I would like to see them/him again, but I haven't listened to anything passed that point/didn't like what I heard.

  • @okman4ever I'm happy about their divorce to be honest. I kinda wish he didn't go to the city that day. I love Matt Skiba with all my heart, and I want him to be happy, but still.

  • Actually as I recall, he was talking about the day he met his wife.

  • This song is about San Francisco and the first time he met his wife, so he was probably talking about her

  • (I've known her / she's been a friend of mine?)for a long time, this is for her, it's called 'The City That Day' And the only female person he is talking about i can think of is Heather Gabel

  • youre welcome :)

  • use your ears!

  • ultimate-guitar dot com/tabs/m/matt_skiba/the_city_that_day_ver3_tab dot htm

There are the tabs for the song if anyone wants to learn how to play it properly. If anyone is a great tabber, check for errors.

  • You can see him play the whole song... you shouldn't need tabs, just watch this a few times.

  • what is he saying at the beginning?
