that mecanism is also uses in the bow trap just slightly diffrent. the bow trap if made right is the deadliest trap ever andis dangerous to large game as well as humans

if you hadn't kept the bow-shaped piece of wood curved for so long it would have been more rigid and thus would have done more damage by going perhaps into the ground instead of skimming the surface once.
