STARS recognizes institutions that are supporting a sustainable food system. Institutions can use their food purchases to support their local economies; encourage safe, environmentally friendly farming methods; and help alleviate poverty for farmers. This webinar gave an overview of the STARS Dining Services subcategory. In addition, participants will gain the perspective of a STARS Charter Participants working on the credits in the Dining Services area of STARS.
