Pokémon Battle Revolution - Sep 13 08 B

lacho40 requested that I have a battle with the Allen Pass. That's the one with Mawile and Sableye, by the way.

So I had one. It didn't last very long. Without Golduck, I wasn't sure how I could deal with Kyogre. I thought that it would be using Water Spout, but it was using Hydro Pump instead. And try as you might, if a Pokémon isn't resistant to Water, Hydro Pump will knock it out--that 150 base Special Attack ain't just for show. That's why I went after Kyogre rather than Mewtwo--because Kyogre is by far the larger threat.

All in all, these guys wiped the floor with me. I aready knew it wasn't going to go well for me when I saw that lineup and how they all had Hold Items. My biggest mistake was choosing against Golduck, who would have negated Drizzle and had Light Screen to make sure other Pokémon could stand up to those Hydro Pumps.

I used Sableye, Mawile, Wigglytuff, and Camerupt. My opponent used Mewtwo, Kyogre, and that's it.

This began at 1:45 PM Pacific Time.

Where do you get a shell bell, anyway?

I typically got my Shell Bells from a GBA Pokémon game. I forget where you can find them in the DS games.
