Discovery Channel Storm Chasers Sean Casey and the rest of the TIV (Tornado Intercept Vehicle) crew were in Chattanooga, Tn on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 for an iMAX convention. They took the time to meet with fans, and give rides around town in the TIV. I managed to get the last ride of the day when the vehicle was already full, so I was very thankful to experience this! Unfortunately I do not remember the driver's name, but he was very nice and did an excellent job navigating the tank around town.
This video shows pictures of the outside of the TIV, and footage of the ride, including a view from the turret where the iMAX camera sits. I hope you enjoy this video, because I sure did enjoy the experience!
