why doesn't "the real news" mention federal reserve interest rate and fanny freddie which are the biggest government sponsored banks who were involved in subprime practices? and they seem to imply that more government sponsored activities (this time, to regulate) won't lead to similar failures.. when does it occur to "the real news" that the government officials just aren't smart enough to guarantee anything? when they fail, their "approval" stamp becomes the shield for the worst practices?
