They were actually a production team. 'Hang On Sloopy' was their baby. J.Geils did a faithful cover of this on 'Love Stinks'. This really is the dog's nuts, though.

I like the album version of this song. It is 40 seconds longer. They hacked the crap out of this on the 45rpm.

Why didn't these blokes get more attention? So much fun to listen to!! Whatever happened to the wacky vid for "I Want Candy" - in B&W, a 30s-style combo and a hefty dancing lady? Cool combination - made the original "I Want Candy" even more intriguing than it already is.

UK London labels always credited the original US name. Look closely and Bang gets a mention on the left!
