TDL: 4/15/11 - Park Re-opening & 28th Anniversary

Tokyo Disneyland re-opened for operation on April 15th, 2011. It had been closed since March 11th after a major earthquake and tsunami struck Japan's northeastern and eastern coasts.

The re-opening also takes place on the 28th Anniversary of the Park's opening in 1983. Also on this day, "Disney's Easter Wonderland" special event began and new attraction "Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall" opened.

@ofelixdacat Have you ever been to DLCA or WDW?! Every morning CM stand on the sidewalks on Main Street and wave to guests as the enter the park! I also have never seen someone push or attack a character and I've been to WDW over 50 times.

AMAZING! The employees are standing on the sides waving and smiling at all the guest, something you'd NEVER see in a US park! Also,the guest are so polite towards the characters! The characters are NOT being grabbed, swarmed, pushed, or hit, another thing you'd NEVER see at a US park! The fact that they have characters mingling around freely is amazing too, since you only see characters at Meet N Greet locations in the US Disney parks.

The opening of the video sees everybody marching to the tune of "Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf" as they head towards the TDL opening.
