"Singlefin: yellow", tells the story of a 9'6" surfboard's life as it travels the globe shared by a group of friends.
This film takes us to Northern New South Wales with Beau Young, then on to Japan, and David Kinoshita. From there we go Stateside, to Daize Shayne in Hawaii, Devon Howard in California and Mexico, and then back to Waikiki and Pipeline, where the board gets thrashed by Bonga Perkins.
A beautifully shot soul trip for the more traditional-style fans.

  • Hmmm..."eat a dick". Is that the best you can come up with? Im sure you could throw a few more expletives in there but that would only show your mentality. I find it funny how young "punk-ass" surfers (or wannabees in your case) try so hard to use foul language, etc. in order to come off like they're more hardcore than they really are. One day you might grow up...but you may never be a true surfer. Good luck kid....you'll need it in this life.

  • Fantastic film. Coincidentally, I'd been eyeballing a 9'8" singlefin yellow Stamps noseriding longboard for sometime at a local shop, then saw this film recently which pushed me over the edge to buy it. Got it for christmas and she's a beaut. Thanks for the film and lets all remember that the best surfer on the water is the one having the most fun.

  • @DRG1939 totally agreed

im 14 and i cant stand the modern teen surfers; i mean i longboard and most kids my age ride a traditional thruster

  • We heard that it wasn't one board at all they made a bunch of them

  • i tend to agree- same with life like liquid

  • I bet that guy gets beat up in the lineup alot. I'd call him a kook poser but that would be an insult to all the kook posers of the world. How about 'gremmie out of control'?

  • Hats off to you, great outlook....not sure of your age but I can guarantee you are younger than me. Hmmm....lets see, Ive been surfing for 21 years and started when I was 17. That would be...?? Doesnt matter what you're riding as long as you're in the water. Besides...here in VA the waves can be marginal anyway. Sometimes a longboard IS the best board. A friend said to me one tme, " stay in the water...it keeps you healthy!"

  • Man, I bet I'm younget than most of you guys! But seriously, This movie was made to tell the story of how different people around the world had their own unique experience with a longboard. I personally enjoy both styles of surfing. When there isn't much of a swell where I go to surf in the summer, I use my friends' dad's longboard. Other wise I use a "funboard". But I still the the same amount of enjoyment from each ride.

  • this is so true! I think jacedeloney may fall into this bracket.
