WOW. Lost classic. What a cool groove! Mary McCreary Russell Rand, as she is known. Former back up voclist for Sly And The Family Stone. Former wife and musical partner of Leon Russell (their pair of albums together have been reissued on Wounded Bird), mother of Teddy and Tina Rose; excellent singer/songwriter!
