It is not a question of fate nor color, it is CAPITALISM which does not have a color nor a religion, it IS a religion, and many many people believe in it, sadly enough, as it is a never ending spiral that is never satisfied, enough is never enough. Let´s hope Bloomberg and his likes read this thread and feel some humanity grow inside, so we can start making changes and help Obama do just that!

One thing I'm getting sick and tired of seeing, is the failure to draw a distinction between LEGITIMATE homeless and CRIMINAL homeless. The criminal homeless are those who would be homeless no matter what condition the economy is in because they are repeat offenders and WANT TO BE HOMELESS!!! Legitimate homeless are people who are HONESTLY, desperately seeking employment and are homeless as a result of lack of employment. Some of the Homeless guys they interviewed were BUMS!

I bet you it costs more to stick a homeless person in jail for an unpaid ticket than the ticket was worth in the first place.

OK; can anyone explain to me what good it does to give someone who is homeless a ticket? If they do not have enough money to live or eat; how are they going to pay a ticket? And where are they supposed to go if the shelters are full? And then if they don't pay the ticket and it turns into a warrant; you're actually doing them a favor in a strange way by taking them to jail; because at least they will have a roof over their head and food to eat; but at what cost to the taxpayers? Think aboutit
