You can feel the pain that he was having over the breakup of his marriage. Prince and Mayte went through alot with the loss of their child. He went a in the studio and turned to his music. Instead of consoling his wife. They just couldn't make it work and they divorced. This song shows his true emotions about Mayte. I really felt that their marriage was magical.They both have moved on professionally as well as personally.
