" Sitting here on the hill, watching the sheep, I'm perplexed as to why I'm able to do so, to see them in a way they don't see me. This consciousness that creates a gap between myself and them, where did it come from? Then I understood in a blinding flash that my station above the sheep is the same as God's station beyond me. The purpose of evolution is not to see and stop, but to see ourselves and know in the same way that as we study truth we are studied BY truth. What we do is also done. "

I hate to but in but the whole " evidence " thing misses the point. Science is great, wonderful, but it has limits and that's no insult to science. After all, that's what drives it in the first place..the need to know. When it comes to God however no such frontier exists, so what makes you think it could be proven, or more to the point, if you got the evidence you ask for, what then? How would any of deal? What if the worst thing God could do to you is give you everything that you want?

I'm not religious, but I believe in god.
Whether or not Jesus was the actual son of god, he was a true Angel of mercy. He still died for everyone and brought faith to this world. So that is a man I think everyone should respect even if they are atheist.

@gdrocell I do believe in Jesus, firmly. There is also at least 9 secular sources of Jesus's existence that are legit. Theres about 40 in all. But if you are talking about non-biblical sources there are only 9. I actually like science. It's so cool to learn more and more things about it. The only thing I find myself avoiding when studying science in a secular community is biased assumptions about the facts that were found.

@gdrocell Exactly. Black holes, the "God" particle, Quantum Mechanics, all of these scientist create or modify to try and save the BBT. I've studied it myself and have come to the same conclusion as you. I can either believe in God or the BBT. Now black holes I assume exist but the Higgs Boson, is totally faith based to save the stellar evolution theory- so is Quantum Mechanics.

@CrownedGD Jesus was a real person, and he died on the cross for us.The words that Jesus spoke has life, and no myth can support that, which is what Einstein claimed. One must take by faith that Jesus rose from the dead, there is no way around it to be a true, genuine christian.I personally don't have enough faith that we were all created by chance as evolution claims. One would have to show me probability is more than just the cardinality of the event set over the cardinality of the sample space.

@CrownedGD I am on my last semester of earning my computer science bachelors degree at University of Maryland, and having taken other science classes, such as astronomy, validate what you're saying. Things like the big bang theory is exactly what it is, a theory. It has been "validated" as proven, but it's only validated from radio waves sniffed from what we can see from our small, localized position in the universe. It is totally plausible that these radiowaves could be from anything!

@xxbrighidxx yea, you do have to be an idiot to worship the devil. You can worship the devil without realizing it through idolatry.
This song has converted my Satanic friend into a Catholic. The power of this song has saved lives, improved lives, and helped others find the way to eternal life.

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, give blessing to those who curse you and pray for those who would mistreat you! Give to all who ask of you, do for others only that which you would have others do for you. For if you only care for those who care for you why should you receive any credit. Even them who do not believe the Truth do as much. Words written and spoken so long ago still hold true in a world that has gone so cold to one another. Keep them close to your hart.
