  • @papecat 1. The guy who designed the plane didn't realise that planes need to balance on the wing spar and designed the plane with the wing at the front + the nose gear was way too close to the main gear to be stable on the ground. The non-structural box was added to extend the nose and balance the plane and the nose gear could not be attached to it - what you see is their solution.

  • My guess is that there was not a strong enough structural member farther up to attach it to. Of course that set up with that much offset will also be much more shock absorbing on a rough landing as well so that could be why too.

  • What is up with the nosewheel setup?

  • ya i would like to know

  • nice, whats the song called

  • That is great work!

    Big plane!

    And it flys so well!

  • Hey

I'm recently doing a similar project at my university in Switzerland. What are the specs of your UAV. Is there any publication?

  • What is your main objective of doing this, what do you aim to do with your UAV?

  • Watched all the vids on this. Did great! yea slow turns on the approach are tricky with flaps down. Great work.
